For each non scholastic FCA  AFF.  event 
 
Step 1

1. A player earns 4 GP points for each played game.

 
Step 2

2. Subtract the players old rating from  his new rating (as calculated by the USCF report).

3. Subtract the 4 points he earned for each game played (from step 1)
4. If the result is negative, use 0.
5. If the rating is provisional, use 0.
 
Step 3

6. add step 1 and 2

Step 4

7. If it's a Quick Chess event divide by 2.

 
Step 5

Add the result to his old GP score
